What are Memorial Quilts?
Memorial Quilts are simply quilts made in memory of a loved one. Memorial quilts can incorporate clothing, photos, linens, wedding clothes, baby clothes, blankets, art, quotes... just about anything you can think of that is made of fabric or could be scanned onto a computer can be included in a memory quilt.
They are a fantastic way to hang on to the memories embedded in clothing, and to be able to enjoy those memories every day!
How much does it cost?
I price my memorial quilts equivalent to my adult t-shirt quilts (regardless of what type of clothing you choose to use.)

How many items of clothing does the customer need to provide?
It depends on the size of your order, and whether the items are adult or child sizes. Please refer to our pricing guide - if the items are teen or adult, use the adult chart (they don't have to be t-shirts - any items of clothing count!) and for children under about age 8-10, use the baby clothing numbers. We also offer wall hangings of any size, tailored to the number of pieces you can provide. Of course, if your pieces come
up just short I will add solid, coordinating fabric to the quilt to fill in the gaps.
How long will it take?
My typical turn around time is 8-12 weeks from the time I receive your materials. I can almost always accommodate rush orders. I am busiest in November-December (holiday rush), and May-July (post-spring-cleaning rush!)
